Pay What You Can
Art Commissions

Yep, you read that right! I know, it seems kinda weird in this day and age to offer a pay-what-you-can model for art, but I've always been a little on the weird side, and I'm SO okay with that.

Shit's expensive these days and NOBODY should have to forego a beautiful piece of art because it's ridiculously out of their price range.

Art should be for everybody, not just the hoity toity fuckers out there, ya know?!

all at pay-what-you-can prices.
There's more info about my Pay What You Can model in the FAQs below.

Mirrors &
Moons

I admit, my first mirror was not my idea, at all. It was a bail out idea from a friend when they saw the disaster that became the the middle of one of my round paintings. She looked at it and said, "Hmm...make it a mirror to cover up the shitshow in the middle."

To which I replied, "BRILLIANT!" and the rest is history.

Now I make mirrors mostly with people's colours surrounding them, so they can be surrounded by their emotion colours while having a looky loo. 🪞🧐

Plants
& Flowers

Not gonna lie! I've got a GIANT green thumb. Plants love me and they flourish around my energy.

I have NO idea why.

But what I do know is that I have a thing for plants too.

But I had never been able to draw or paint them, until I saw a complete fluid acrylic painting of one in my head one day and knew I could make it happen.

These plants and leaves can be created with any colours, don't limit yourself to greens and leafy thinking!

waves
& Flames

You know that song Waves by Dean Lewis? Well, whenever I paint waves, it rolls through my head on repeat for DAYS. So, I spent A LOT of time with that song in my head because painting waves is one of my fave things to do!

But also, I'm a Scorpio, which is a water sign, and I am drawn to water more deeply than anything else.

I love being in it, looking at it, being on top of it, and, of course, painting it.

The other side of me is the fiery shedragon (🐉) who is passionate about so many things and feels the burn of creativity flowing through my veins every dang day.
The more I play with fluid acrylics with waves and flames, the more I want to. I literally can't get enough!

Hearts

What can I say, other than that I believe the world can use all the heart energy it can get right now.

I try to spend most of my time living from my heartspace and sharing my heart energy with the world. So painting hearts in different ways reminds me to stay in that vibe and embed it in the fluid acrylic paintings I'm working on.

abstracts

Flow with Jo Fluid Acrylic Art173_edited.jpg

Sometimes, I don't feel like creating a specific "type" of painting and I just want to play with the colours and see what comes.

I play with a good variety of abstract fluid art concepts—swipes and cells, ring pours, straight pours, tilts, spins, whatever feels right for the colours in that given moment. The results are always fun and unexpected.

And,Since a big part of me digs adventure and the unknown, abstracts are always a thrill ride!

Fluid Acrylic Art Commissions Available

As I said back there on my Flow with Jo Art homepage, I used to scoff at people who call themselves "intuitive artists" until the world smacked me in the chops by killing me for a few minutes and then bringing me back with some new intuitive "gifts". Now, tapping into my intuition while painting happens on the daily. I can't turn that shit off, no matter how hard I try. 🥴

So not only are my art commissions pay-what-you-can, but I also give people who commission my art the choice to pick their own colours or let me pick them according to what I see.
